Team Dominator Canada is the Canadian division of Team Dominator which was created by Extreme Meteorologist Dr. Reed Timmer.
As the leader of Team Dominator Canada, Dan Madden sets the vision and direction for the group. His strong leadership qualities, combined with his extensive storm chasing experience, enable him to make informed decisions and effectively guide the team during expeditions.
Matt's fascination with weather started at a very young age. This fascination lead to becoming a pilot. Matt has been flying aircraft for over 20 years now and storm chasing for over 15 years. Matt's storm and aurora photography has been featured in all major media stations across Canada including CBC, Global News, and CTV news.
As Extreme Meteorologist and founder of Team Dominator and celebrity, Reed is best known for his tornado intercepts. The secrets of tornadoes have been a source of endless fascination for him since an early age. Reed chased his first tornado when he was a freshman at the University of Oklahoma and has a passion for science and education.
Mark is a research scientist and avid storm chaser passionate about severe weather. As lead scientist for Team Dominator, his mission is to develop specialized miniaturized sensors, electronics and software for deployment into Tornadoes, Hurricanes and Hail. His work has been featured on National Geographic TV's "Storm Rising". Mark's "Skyfall" sensor is the first sensor to be deployed in a Tornado to the stratosphere.
Sean has been a member of Team Dominator for over 11 years while getting up close and personal with some of North America’s most infamous tornadoes. He is the driver of the Dominators but most notably Dominator 3. You may have seen him on TV shows like the hit series Tornado Chasers, Wild Weather With Richard Hammond, Inside the Mega Twister, or featured in the special features of the movie Into The Storm.
Braydon Morisseau has been chasing storms since 2008. With a passion for safety and scientific knowledge, he has dedicated his life to tracking and reporting active weather, having witnessed hundred of tornadoes. Featured by prominent media outlets like CBC Docs, The Weather Network, and BBC, Braydon shares his incredible experiences with the world.
Born and raised in England, John has always had a passion for the outdoors and photography. After picking up his first Canon film camera at age 7, photography was inevitably something he wanted to pursue. As a published photographer, John strives to capture the beauty and excitement that Canada has to offer.
Since she was very young, Brittany has had a fascination with severe weather and began chasing at only 17. Her interest and knowledge with severe weather has grown and she plans to minor in Earth and Atmospheric Sciences.
Since watching Twister at a early age, Cresta always knew that one day she would chase storms. Combined with a passion for photography and and the science behind storms, Cresta uses these skills to document severe weather in Canada.
As a kid, Dean was terrified of storms, so he decided to become a storm spotter to get over that fear. From there, he expanded that knowledge and now has over a decade of storm chasing experience. Dean is always trying to get the team to crack a smile at a bad joke.
Always loving thunderstorms whilst growing, Matthew has been dedicated to storm chasing since 2012. He got his first camera around the same time and he hasn't stopped since.
Experiencing severe weather growing up in Ontario, Steve's move to the prairies has opened up a new chapter in his passion with the regularity of the stunning, powerful supercells we experience in the great plains. Steve likes to share the experience of a good chase with other likeminded individuals through his photography.
Viking and family man Joel is known for slaying storms and his photography and graphic design expertise. If there's a storm around, Joel's on it. When he's not chasing severe weather, he likes to watch a Star Trek episode and is into sci-fi.
Hank is an avid severe weather chaser from the land of the living skies. "Flat Lander" Hank hails from Saskatchewan and is well know for his storm chasing and photography expertise. You can catch him under the Meso.
